Sorento
A nearly built-out northeast Pflugerville community with real amenities and final-phase inventory.

The community
Sorento sits in northeast Pflugerville off Weiss Lane, and it’s a useful case study in what a master plan looks like near the finish line. The amenity package — clubhouse, fitness center, resort-style pool, splash pad, playgrounds — is fully built and in use, not a rendering. Streets are established, most sections are occupied, and the construction phase of neighborhood life is largely behind it. As of mid-2026, remaining new-home inventory is marketed as final opportunities. That’s an honest description, and it cuts both ways: less choice, but also less waiting and often more builder flexibility on inventory homes.
The homes
Sorento is production housing on 40–55 ft lots — expect roughly 0.12–0.16 acres and homes close together. Plans over the community’s life have run from about 1,150 sq ft cottages to 3,300 sq ft five-bedrooms. Builder-published pricing on remaining homes in July 2026 runs mid $300s to upper $400s. D.R. Horton, Pacesetter, Meritage, and Westin have all built here, but several are already sold out and rosters rotate by phase — what’s actually available is a shorter list than the historical roster, so verify current inventory before you get attached to a floor plan.
Location, schools, and the drive
The community is zoned to Pflugerville ISD; verify the current campus assignments, as this side of the district has grown fast. Lake Pflugerville is minutes away, and Stone Hill Town Center covers groceries and big-box retail about 10–15 minutes west. Commuting works best if your destination is on the SH 130 corridor — airport, Tesla, or Samsung in Taylor are all reasonable runs. Downtown Austin is 35–45 minutes and toll-dependent. See our Pflugerville guide for how the east side compares to the west, and look at Carmel next door if you want new sections with fuller selection.
