RA Residential is a Greater Austin brokerage founded in 2015 by broker-principal Rani Alowairdi, who has called Austin home since 2010. It exists because a house is the biggest purchase most people ever make — and too much of this industry would rather flatter you than level with you. We'd rather level with you.

That's why the heart of this site isn't a photo of us in front of a sold sign. It's the neighborhood guides — the same briefings we give our own clients before a first tour, published for anyone to read. Schools, commutes, tax rates, and the tradeoffs each area actually has. If you read them and never call us, they still did their job.

The three commitments

Honesty. We'll tell you when a house is overpriced, when a neighborhood doesn't fit the life you described, and when walking away is the right move. An advisor who only says yes isn't an advisor.

Expertise. We know one market: Austin. Sixteen years living here, a brokerage built here in 2015, and contracts negotiated through the frenzy of 2021, the correction that followed, and every ordinary season in between. That history is the difference between guessing and knowing.

Maximum effort. A boutique firm means the person you hire is the person who shows up — for the pricing strategy, the negotiation, and the late-night call before an option period expires.
